Just in time for Christmas, Creativity Consultant and co-owner of Creative Technology Services Brandy M. Miller is offering make-and-take art classes. Come join the fun and find out just how easy it can be to create beautiful paintings your family and friends will enjoy receiving as gifts. There will be two sessions, one on November 10th from 1-3 pm and on on November 19th from 6-8 pm. Classes are $30 including supplies for individuals or $50 including supplies for couples. Registration is open up to the day before the class. Children 10 and older are welcome to participate.
Session I, November 10th: Waterfalls and rocks
Session II, November 19th: Mountains and Trees
Your class fee covers both sessions.
Classes will be held at the Elko County Art Club Gallery, located at 469 4th Street in Elko, Nevada. Checks are accepted and should be made out to Creative Technology Services. You can also pay for the classes through paypal using the email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Brandy Miller joined the Elko County Art Club in January of 2012. She began painting in December of 2009 using oils but has since branched out into acrylics. She has been featured several times in the Elko Daily and has participated in various outdoor painting activities hosted by the club. She has an Associates Degree in Elementary Education and enjoys teaching students of all ages. She is extremely patient with beginners and believes that when it comes to paintings there truly are no mistakes, just unexpected adventures.
You can view her work at the Elko County Art Club Gallery Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11 am – 5 pm. She also accepts commissions, so if you don’t find something you like among her treasures use the contact form to let her know what you’d like. Commissioned paintings usually start at $60 for an unframed piece.
